Remember how a few months before Onslaught came out, Incursions got updated, with, along other stuff...this specific hack:
The second I saw this I was so excited cuz I knew it's well intended...
The same way I know these aren't just mere coincidences:
BASTION title, and...
We know that the eqs dialogues have hidden clues as for future champions and stuff, right? Some hints are more hidden, and some are...THAT:
The thing is, we got these two Bastion name drops in the same month, and I've always thought the champ that should come out and counter Onslaught perfectly (also being the first Neuroshock immune, or resistant with benefits) is Bastion!
He should have a pre fight abillity called Prime Sentinel program, it will grant bleed and poison 80% resistance, regan buffs that heal X% of missing health when dealt with either of the latter, a regan granting say 35%-45% of max health when falling below 15%-stopped if stunned (this one isn't really fitting for Sentinels but tech champs have it so...) as well as a potent armor up and Prowess invalidate.
And since its really good it will require, like Apoc, a few charges and not just 1 like Shathra.
Tho It seems Kabam release Apoc type champs like only once a year at minimum... and we just got it for this year in the form of Shathra, so we'll see...

We have a tech champ next month but it's unlikely to be bastion
If we ever get him i think he should be an exclusive champ as much as id love a normal release as he would change the mutant effects again i think it be better if exclusive

I don't think he'll be 2024, but 2025 probably. They haven't released the 2025 roadmap though

Bastion's been an inevitable addition since they added Sentinel, Nimrod and Omega Sentinel. Once the first two in particular were added, Bastion's been a matter of when, not if, he gets added.

It's weird that you didn't mention how they ACTUALLY teased him... Phrases appeared in Professor X's lines (a few months before Onslaught came out) that match the lines that were a kind of teaser

Cuz I think Apoc's is pretty good
Galan's like nice...Shathra's sounds eh nice too... but just as Apoc's pre fight was the cherry on top for the mutant class, other pre fights should be the cherry on top for their own respective classes.
But that pre fight can still be nerfed, like, take away the regen upon getting to 15% hp1
